A morning of outdoor adventure, friendship,
and fun at Bushy Hill!

Bring a Friend to Bushy Hill Day is a free drop-off program for kids to spend a morning engaged in the kind of outdoor play, exploration, and hands-on learning that define the Bushy Hill experience. This event is open to all children ages 5-12, whether or not they are registered for camp this summer, with a focus on having fun, building friendships, and spending meaningful time outdoors!

Participants will hike to a favorite Bushy Hill destination, play outdoor games, learn how to build a campfire, try out an element on the low ropes course, and more. A snack will be provided, and all participants will receive an exclusive Bushy Hill ball cap!

-You do not need to be registered for Bushy Hill Day Camp to attend! 
-This is a free, drop-off program open to members of the community. 
Parents can drop off their child(ren) at 9am and pick them up at 1pm.

What to Expect

-A hike to a popular Bushy Hill destination
-Outdoor games and activities that are favorites of our campers
-An element or two on our low ropes course to build self-confidence and teamwork skills
-Learn how to build a campfire and campfire safety
-A snack will be provided
-All activities will be led by Emily, Bushy Hill Director, and Bushy Hill staff

Drop-Off and pick-up Information

This is a drop-off program, and parents are not expected to stay.
-Participants will be supervised at all times by Bushy Hill staff.
-Families are welcome to pick up their child(ren) at 1pm and then explore on their own!
Picnic tables are available if you would like to bring lunch to enjoy outdoors!
-Pick-up and drop-off are at the Nature Center.
For everyone’s safety, children will only be released to a parent or caregiver listed at check-in.
